Long-lead management
Some components — superconducting coil elements, specialized shielding, custom electronics — have long procurement lead times. These are identified in design and either stocked or ordered against a life-based schedule so a planned replacement is never waiting on manufacture.
Logistics for a fixed site
Because Aegis is a fixed, low-signature installation, resupply paths and on-site storage are part of the site plan. Spares and logistics are planned at design stage against the frozen machine and refined as reliability data accumulates.
