Availability is engineered through redundancy, condition monitoring, and outage batching so Aegis delivers firm, dependable power.

Availability is the fraction of time the plant can deliver its rated output; capacity factor also reflects how much energy it actually produces. For a resilient, always-on installation generator, both are first-order design goals. Aegis pursues them through redundancy, condition-based maintenance, and disciplined outage planning.

What drives it

Outage management

Unplanned outages hurt availability most, so the strategy converts them into planned ones by catching degradation early. Planned outages are batched and shortened by pre-staging spares, sequencing work, and streamlining pump-down, bakeout, and conditioning after any vacuum break.

Design-stage targets

Availability targets are set from reliability modeling of the frozen machine and its balance of plant. They are engineering objectives at design stage, validated in stages beginning with the first test burner; no operating availability record exists yet because the machine is not built.
