Zenodo Deposits and DOIs

Every paper is deposited on Zenodo with a permanent DOI, so a citation resolves to the exact data and code behind the claim, not a broken link.

Why deposit, and why DOIs

A paper describes a result; a deposit preserves the evidence for it. Kronos deposits each paper's data and, where applicable, code on Zenodo, a long-term open repository operated in the research-infrastructure community. Each deposit receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) — a permanent, citable handle that resolves to a fixed version of the files, so a reference will still reach the exact evidence years later.

The Kronos community

The deposits are collected in a Zenodo community, kronos_fusion_energy, so the full set of papers and their data can be found in one place. The community holds the physics record only; consistent with our firewall, it contains no economics. See what we don't publish.

Versioning done right

From claim to evidence in two clicks

The intent is that a reader can move from a sentence in a paper to the file that backs it without contacting us. The full catalogue of DOIs is on the DOI map; the reproduction discipline that makes the files runnable is described under reproducible pipelines.

A DOI is a promise that the evidence will still be there. We keep it by depositing, versioning, and checksumming everything we cite.
