Twin-in-the-Loop Control

Twin-in-the-loop control runs Kronos's digital twin alongside the real machine, so the controller can test an action against the model before committing it - and catch drift when the two disagree.

The concept

The twin predicts the near-future state; the controller compares predicted and measured outcomes each cycle. Large disagreement is itself a signal - a fault or modeling gap - that triggers safe fallback rather than blind action.

How Kronos uses it

Learned components accelerate the loop, but all actuation stays inside a certified safe operating envelope. The twin advises; the safety layer has final authority.

The approach is designed and simulated now; closed-loop hardware operation follows Kronos's build milestones.
