What Is Real Today: Design Stage

Every capability described in these pages is a design and simulation study; being explicit about that is part of a credible national-security posture.

The breeder (Hyperion) and the burner (Aegis / MetroVolt) are engineering design and simulation studies. The physics figures quoted, a scientific gain of 3.076, 85.0 MW of fusion power, 9.66 MA of plasma current, tritium in the 4 kg/yr class, helium-3 near 1.97 kg/yr, are computed design targets, not measurements from an operating machine.

Why the honesty is strategic
