A fuel that does not exist at scale
The burner runs on deuterium and helium-3. Deuterium is abundant, but helium-3 is extremely rare on Earth and already in chronic shortage. A single commercial burner unit would demand roughly 400x the entire domestic helium-3 supply. The fuel for burner-scale operation does not exist at terrestrial scale.
This gate is why the isotope and lunar pathways run through the whole energy-security story. Breeder-bred helium-3 (~1.97 kg/yr design point) helps detection and technology markets but cannot approach burner fuel scale. The only candidate at scale is lunar helium-3, gated to roughly 2038-40.
Why it belongs in a logistics section
The burner is the machine meant to cut the terrestrial fuel-logistics tail, yet at scale it depends on a cislunar fuel supply chain that does not yet exist. That is the honest shape of the trade: enormous energy density, but a fuel-supply problem of a different kind. Stating the 400x factor plainly keeps the logistics argument credible.

The 400x figure is per commercial unit, which is the honest way to state it: a fleet multiplies the demand further.
