When Kronos freezes a design, that operating point becomes canonical: papers, figures, the interactive 3D model, the live simulator and this library all draw from it. No artefact is allowed to quietly carry a different number.

The current freeze fixes the breeder at Q = 3.076 / 85.0 MW and the burner at QE = 1.31 / fn = 5.44%.

Change controlWhen the design evolves, the freeze is updated deliberately and the change is recorded — never silently overwritten.

Common questions

What is the freeze discipline?

Fixing the design as one canonical set of numbers so nothing drifts and every figure traces to a single source. Changes are deliberate and controlled, not silent.

Why is freezing valuable?

Because a frozen point can be reproduced, checked and built against — it is what makes the open deposits and the simulator agree with the papers.
