Resistive MHD
MHD with finite resistivity, allowing tearing and reconnection.
Adding resistivity to MHD allows field lines to break and reconnect, giving tearing modes and slower instabilities that ideal theory misses. It is needed to assess neoclassical tearing modes and disruptions.
