Radiative Divertor

A divertor operated to radiate most of its heat before it reaches the targets.

A radiative divertor seeds impurities to radiate the exhaust power volumetrically, spreading it over the whole surface. It is the operating strategy behind Kronos's high-radiated-fraction divertor design.
