Plasma Rotation

Bulk flow of the plasma that stabilises certain instabilities.

Plasmas can rotate toroidally, driven by injected beams or intrinsic effects. Rotation and its shear stabilise resistive-wall modes and suppress turbulence, making it a useful performance lever.
