Edge Neutral Density
The population of neutral atoms at the plasma edge.
Neutral atoms from recycling and fuelling populate the edge, fuelling the plasma and enabling detachment through charge exchange and ionisation. Edge neutral density is a key parameter for exhaust and fuelling.
