Mirror-Throat Coil

The coil that forms the high-field reflection point at each end of the mirror.

At each end of the central cell, a mirror-throat coil raises the field to 17 T, reflecting particles back toward the centre. Together with the plug it sets the mirror ratio and the end confinement.
