Kronos's materials technology spans REBCO superconductor, high-strength cryogenic structural alloys, refractory plasma-facing armour rated for 1.97 MW/m2, and low-activation steels for the neutron-heavy breeder. Material choices are stated with their honest qualification gates — notably magnet cyclic fatigue.
