Divertor Pumping

Removing exhaust and helium ash from beneath the divertor.

Pumping ducts beneath the divertor remove neutralised exhaust gas and helium ash, controlling density and enabling detachment. Divertor pumping ties the exhaust physics to the vacuum system.
