PERMEATION BARRIERS

  • Alumina Coatings (Al2O3) (PB-Al2O3-005): Chemically stable and high-temperature resistant, these coatings prevent tritium permeation in fusion reactor components, enhancing safety and efficiency.


  • Silica Coatings (SiO2) (PB-SiO2-006): Provide excellent barrier properties and thermal stability, protecting materials in high-temperature environments and reducing tritium leakage.


  • Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ) (PB-YSZ-007): High temperature and chemical stability, reducing hydrogen isotope permeation in reactor components, ensuring the containment and safety of tritium.


  • Chromia Coatings (Cr2O3) (PB-Cr2O3-008): Offer excellent thermal stability and corrosion resistance, used as permeation barriers in fusion reactors to protect critical components from degradation.
