Product Manager - Fusion Energy Generators (5 Positions)

Location: Remote / 20% Travel to Austin, TX or Los Angeles, CA

Position Type: Full-Time (6-Month Temp-to-Hire)

Job Description

We are seeking five passionate and entrepreneurial Product Managers, each to lead the development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of one of our key fusion energy generators:

1. StarCore Power Module – A compact space power module delivering 500 MW for space missions, including lunar bases and interplanetary spacecraft.

2. Aegis Tactical Power Core – A robust tactical power unit providing 500 MW for military operations and mobile command centers.

3. Voyager Power System – A maritime and remote power system delivering 600-800 MW for critical infrastructure in isolated locations.

4. MetroVolt Grid Engine – An urban grid power station providing 1,000 MW of clean energy for cities, ensuring reliable electricity for residential, commercial, and agricultural needs.

5. Inferno-X High-Temp Reactor – An advanced high-temperature process generator engineered for industrial processes, offering sustainable heat generation from 600°C to 1,200°C.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the product development, from concept to commercialization, for one of the five fusion energy generators listed above.

• Build and lead a high-performing team dedicated to your product, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally, including R&D, engineering, supply chain partners, and manufacturing, to ensure the product meets market needs and performance standards.

• Foster strong relationships with key laboratories and partners, including ITER, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), Brookhaven National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and others, to support the development and testing of your assigned product.

• Build and maintain supply chain partnerships, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of essential components and materials.

• Drive the integration of advanced materials, simulations, and AI-driven optimization techniques into product development.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for fusion energy technologies.

• Embrace a product-centric mindset, focusing on delivering value and innovation to customers.

• Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to inform product improvements and innovation.

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, working closely with sales and marketing teams to achieve product adoption and revenue targets.

• Prepare and present product updates and reports to the Founder/CEO and Board.

Qualifications:

• Strong entrepreneurial sense with a passion for product development and a customer-centric approach.

• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional teams.

• Experience in building and leading teams within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to travel domestically (up to 20%) to Austin, TX or Los Angeles, CA to collaborate with partners and stakeholders.
